Anyone shooting these Lehigh PWC hunting pistol bullets?

If it jams force it! If it breaks it needed replacing anyway.

What's the PWC? I've shot Lehigh Extreme Penetrators and Chaos bullets. The Chaos are fantastic up to a 200+# bear, supersonic and subsonic(in .300 Whisper). The only Penetrators I've used was on groundhogs- very poor testing material.

Permanent wound cavity (PWC)
Their term for HP performance in a solid bullet.

OK. Never shot/tested any of them. I'm wondering if ricochets would be a problem with them?? And how would they perform on smallish animals.
I'll give Dave Fricke (the owner) credit. He's always coming up with something new....and strange.

I've only used the Extreme Penetrators and they were out of my 12" Encore 500 S&W..they perform like a Hardcast...nothing more, nothing less..tissue damage was less than impressive and penetration was very similar to a heavyweight hardcast...they work, but the hype is just hype, the wheel didn't get reinvented with these bullets...if you know what I mean..LOL...don't get me wrong, they're good bullets, just nothing spectacular

THERE ARE "LEHIGH" BULLETS AND "LEHIGH DEFENSE BULLETS", THE LATTER HAS THE MONOLITHIC WFN's. DO NOT KNOW WHICH HAS "PWC" BULLETS.

"ADAPT OR DIE". I USE ALL CAPS, NOT BECAUSE I AM YELLING, BUT BECAUSE IT IS AN OLD HABIT FROM MY ARMY DAYS, PLUS IT IS EASIER TO TYPE AND READ.

I have wondered how well some of their pistol caliber Controlled Fracturing bullets would work on game. Might try them this year if Hornady Handgun Hunter gets delayed again.

NOT SURE I MADE IT CLEAR, BUT "LEHIGH BULLETS" AND "LEHIGH DEFENSE BULLETS" APPEAR TO BE 2 DIFFERENT COMPANIES.

The Lehigh Defense and Extreme Penetrators are both monolithic solids, with differing nose profiles...Lehigh also makes expanding and fracturing HP's which are of a completely different design and purpose. Their fracturing HP's are AMAZING.

Don't know about hogs, but the fracturing HPs (Chaos) penetrate 100% on deer (110 gr) at 400 yards and bear (144 yards).
The subsonics (.300 Whisper, 186 gr. Chaos)) get 100% penetration out to 175 yards with the skived jacket going in 4 different directions.

The Lehigh solid copper flat nose are game changers in that no matter how hard you drive them they are less likely than lead to deform or break-up when penetrating. And no gas check needed to prevent leading as with a hardcast missle. Structural integrity of solid copper versus lead that could deform and slow penetration if driven too fast.
