Anyone with load data for 210 grain swift A-Frames in a .41 magnum?Namely a 10? FA model 83,Iam most curious about the COL as they are quite a bit longer than the XTPs

Yes James is definitely your guy. I am currently working on a load for my FA .41. Recently I shot some loads that i had loaded up with Aa-9. Honestly the load did not do what I was expecting to see at 50 yrds, but it does have some potential. I will do more testing soon. Yes this is the load that john Taffin uses. All guns don't shoot alike.

I tried the Taffin load also with the XTPs but I went back to my H110 load that goes about 1680. It?s slower but I can shoot it more accurately.I have these swift A-Frames that are burning a hole in my bench that I want to try but due to lack of components I?d like to get a head start on the load development.

We're in the same boat my friend. I would strongly recommend shooting the powder that your gun likes the best. I have a feeling that I will end shooting WW-296. My guns loves the stuff.

Got 1745fps with 210XTP and 1674FPS with the 210 Swift using the same powder charge in my ten inch model 83.... The XTP`s were a bit more accurate...
