G24 Glock slides are scarcer than hens teeth. I just bought another one on ebay. I already have a new frame and a custom tight chambered .40 barrel so I don't have to play switch up between the .357 Sig and the .40. In these barrels the .357 Sig shoots a 125gr bonded bullet 1515fps and the .40 gains nearly 150fps over a standard .40. That puts these guns in the 600 to 700 foot pound range safely and they are super accurate. The primary use of these guns is hogs and deer and they work great in that capacity. Obviously I always need another hunting handgun.

DO NOT KNOW WHAT A GLOCK 24 SLIDE IS BUT THAT GLOCK LOOKS COOL AND MEAN.

A DECEASED COUSIN HAD A SIG IN 357 SIG, IT WAS VERY A ACCURATE GUN, SOMETHING I ATTRIBUTED TO THE CARTRIDGE AS WELL AS THE GUN.

"ADAPT OR DIE". I USE ALL CAPS, NOT BECAUSE I AM YELLING, BUT BECAUSE IT IS AN OLD HABIT FROM MY ARMY DAYS, PLUS IT IS EASIER TO TYPE AND READ.

The Glock G24 was a factory match gun that was also adopted by several international police and military forces. In factory stock classes they dominated several competitions for years. Only one aftermarket manufacturer that I could find ever produced the slides and they were built for unlimited class match guns. If you can get your hands on one they are the perfect platform for a hunting pistol. They will work with 22, 17, 34, 35 and 31 frames. They were factory chambered in .40 S&W. At one time you had to put your name on a waiting list till they made their annual production.
This particular gun is scary. With my bad eyes I can hit drink cans at 100 yards. I special ordered the barrel with a min spec chamber so I could finish the ramp an chamber. I have it cut so that it will only feed from a single stack magazine. The cartridge does seem to be very inherently accurate if you believe in inherent accuracy. SO far no deer has taken a step after getting hit with one of the bonded 125 grains.

I put the slide together this weekend with the tight chambered match .40 Barrel. Dawson sights on the way.

I had a few G24's, one or two standard and one "c" model I got over at Buds when they were in Paris. Nice guns, I only wished they had come out with a Gen4 version but I got by fine with the G35.
