I picked up a 14" Contender barrel earlier this year chambered in 6.5 Bullberry Improved. I topped it with an older 2.5 x 7 Burris scope and started load development using the 120 grain Nosler BT. Settling on Reloader15, I achieved a velocity of 2510 fps with outstanding accuracy.

These two does decided to volunteer Tuesday morning to test bullet performance.

The first doe was at 135 yards quartering towards me. The bullet entered in front of the right shoulder, went through the heart and exited through the left side ribs. She ran about 60 yards and expired.

The second doe came in two hours later and was taken at 90 yards. A standing broadside shot taken behind the shoulder with a complete exit through the ribs. Bang Flop.
