Job well done.
So far I have not got First Blood with my Nosler M48 in 6.5 Creedmoor.
Antlerless Opens Tomorrow. I will probably skip it and wait on Alternative Weapons Season that opens just before Christmas.
Hopefully the Deer will be back to normal by then. I am not sure where the deer went, but about the time acorns dropped they got very thin around here. They must have moved to deeper woods.

It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger squeeze.

I am surprised you had a problem with a newer Burris. I am sure they will make it right.
I killed one of my 30+ year old ones, and they promptly sent me a new one with much clearer glass.

Nice deer. Have not got one with my 445 barrel yet but did with the 414 this year. Maybe next season on 445. Love it when they go right down or at least within site.
