I've been doing alot of in house practicing with my new toy and found that it has a really nice feel to it. The way it balances in the hand. A little front heavy, but it makes it so easy to hold it on target. I've shot about 200 non lethal rounds threw it now. (Also known as dry firing)It is sighted right on for fly on the wall shooting. It's a little early in the Fly season so there aren't to many around yet. There are a small number of spiders and I've been able to tag a few of them. But of course the best medicine for them is a newspaper.
So far the SBH Hunter has been very reliable, straight shooten, and quick handling for the game I was hunting.
The trigger still needs a little work to smooth it out and I found some sharp edges hear and there, typical for Ruger. I will keep you updated on how it's break in period goes and for any problems I expereance. Rupe

That's a cool idea. I think I have some snap caps somewhere, but I havn't got out my reloading stuff yet. That piece of yellow plastic that you see in the picture behind the cylinder I assume does the samething as well as letting you know it isn't loaded. I am a believer in dry firing some types of guns and not others. I've never broken or damaged any of them from doing it and I have one rifle that I've had for 41 years and is still fine. I think it falls into that Chevy and Ford arguement. No winner. LOL

Well Mrs. Rupe was trying to be sneaky and she blabbed out that she was leaving work early today. (My Birthday) Then she looked at me to see if I had heard her. I did, hee hee, I'm thinking box of ammo or reloading stuff or it could be something for our Jeep Wrangler. Tires? Nope can't afford those, but there is a good portable elect. air pump for $50 bucks that I showed her not to long ago. Hum? Going to be another long day. LOL
