It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger squeeze.

Is the .260 a possible white tail round? SURE, that was part of the reason I got mine.

I built one last spring on a Striker action...loads with 129gr SST's shoot .5MOA to 400yds, which is about how far I would hold myself to using it on deer...for now. It's also the long range back up to my 7mm WSM XP-100.

Can't go wrong with a 6.5! I've got 3, a 6.5TC/U, 6.5x55, and a .260Rem. Love 'em all.

wyote...what load are you shooting? What kind of range of those animals? I'm using a 120 gr Nosler BT over H4831 powder. I use winchester 7-08 brass that I've run thru a 260 sizer die. The whitetail was shot crossing a river at a little less than a 150 yards. The antelope......I can't remember right off the top of my head but I believe it was between 200 to 250 yards. The mulie was right at 294 yards.

Wyote, nice shooting and nice animals, guess you answered the gentlemans question about the effectiveness of the 260.
