You ask to see pics......so let's throw them up here. I'll start. This XP-100 was built by Berger and is stocked with a HS Precision. The chambering is in .222 Remington Magnum Improved w/ 45 degree shoulder. It is capable of shooting 52gr Hornady A-Max bullets to 3200fps. On a calm day it will shoot groups under 2.5" at 500yds. This XP-100 was resurrected from it's boring life as a 7x57 Mauser by Allen Precision Shooting in Fort Shaw, MT. The rebuild uses a 17" Lilja barrel, Defensive Edge Muzzle Brake, HS Precision stock, complete accurizing, Sako Extractor, Holland Recoil Lug, Weaver Base and 3-12x32 LER Burris scope. The 7mm-270WSM hybrid launches a 162gr A-Max at 2825fps and will hold nearly .25MOA to 500yds. Not sure who built this XP. But it is a .222 Remington, I'm told it wears a Hart barrel, HS stock and custom trigger. Optics are Burris. I do know that it shoots better than a lot of BR rifles I've competed against!! Those guys get real cranky when a pistol shooter takes their cash. BTW...the turkey was taken at 229yds. This is my .250 Savage Improved. I think the stock is from Bond, barrel is a Shaw and optics are Burris. Base and rings are Leupold. The first year I used it to drop five deer on a crop damage hunt and countless groundhogs out to 300yds. The latest addition to the safe is this one. A HS stocked .300 Savage, Rem 721 take off barrel, Burris rings and optics.

6mm-6.5x47 Lapua. Smithed by Chunk Younglblood. I can't remember if I shot a 16" or a 14" 10-shot group at 1K off of a bi-pod with it last year @ Missoula, MT. Will soon have it set-up as a rear grip with a McCree aluminum stock.

Those are some nice rigs guys! Great shooting Ernie! I use bigger paper targets at 25 yards than you use at 700 yards.

221 Fire Ball with a 3~12 Burris scope. 221 Fire Ball, a work in progress. I fitted an HS stock and topped it with a Weaver V-16 scope. I have a15" Lilja barrel that will be chambered in Fire Ball and installed soon to complete the transformation. This one is a 35 Remington with a Leupold 2.5~8 scope.

gentlemen i can say 1 thing well 2, i thought i had a nice xp until i seen the ones above, mine isnt even worthy enough to hold my mailbox up, i might take mine out and beat my cat with it now. Ernie the pasture poodle that you shot at over 1k with the dakota was the head shot called? if it was that is some mighty fine shooting.LOL Im still unsure about using rifle scopes on pistols yet, ive kissed to many scopes in my day shooting in awkward postions let alone with a pistol i would need to sell all of my pistols to pay my hospital bills with. Either way some mighty fine looking xps and shooting Ron keepem coming

I was shooting off of a bi-pod though-Range was right around 1,455 yards. Good muzzle brake allows you to do amazing things with high capacity cartridges and high magnification rifle scopes.

My 1986-vintage XP with .250/3000 Hart barrel in a Fagen Thumbhole. Action was trued and blueprinted. It used to wear a full-bull barrel, and when glued into a McMillan stock it would agg in the low-.3s with a 10X Burris. Now with the same barrel turned down to factory profile and the 2-7X Burris it only aggs in the low-.5s....... .
Based on total trigger pull weight, my trigger finger has lifted well over 200 tons....
