We had a pretty big shoot at my buddy Mark's house on Sunday IN Western NC we shot about 600 skeet then there were quite a few folks that had never seen a pistol shot at over 100yds—so my buddy Mark cut some 200M IHMSA targets out of 1/2" 7000s AL and he set the pig at 100 the turkey at 150 and the ram at 200 ---well when I rang the pig 6-6 times with my 44mag bisley with the 2x leupy ---he said do that with the 200m ram -- so I proceeded to hit the ram 5 of 6 times ---I pulled the 1st low it was 200 yds—then it was on from there –in a bit of humor someone painted the member on the ram red—it was roughly 1.5” long – my buddy Mark said if you can shoot it off I will give you $50- so I pulled out the MGM full bull 308 Encore –first shot was .5” high and the second made contact. I told Mark 200 yds was way to easy so we moved the Turkey as far as he had land and moved the shooting bench to the house—the next shot was roughly 376 yds—I laid the 308 MGM encore on the table and shot about a 3.5” 3 shot group on the turkey at 376 yds—I pulled out the old 356 win and with 2 dial in shots began to ring the old turkey with it.---Never tried the bisley 44 but that would have been cool—it is just very cool to see rifle shooters set with their jaws on the ground seeing someone shoot sub 4” groups with a pistol at almost 400 yds---Just love to shoot these handguns—BTW --4 water melons and an exploding target lost their lives this same day—I have one guy ready to buy the same gun I have ___TODAY__ he thinks it is Magic

If it jams force it! If it breaks it needed replacing anyway.

GREAT!
Sounds like you schooled some rifle-shooters today.
Feels good, doesn't it?

Good shootin' and an education all in one. Way to go!

Rod, too.

Short cuts often lead to long recoveries.

Great shoot'n!

It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger squeeze.

Pretty area. I get over to Boone, Jefferson and Brevard a few times a year. Trying to convince the wife to move to western NC for retirement.
