I would like to have a Bisley Hunter converted to a 5-holer in .480 Ruger with a 5-1/2" barrel, done by our own wapitrod.
Rod, too.
Short cuts often lead to long recoveries.

My next, although I have many dreams, would be a FA 97 in 22lr/22mag, 7 1/2" barrel, white micarta grips and topped with a 2.5x8 leuy. This would make for some good squirrel medicine.
It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger squeeze.

In revolvers, just a nice custom 44Mag or 45 LC. It would be scoped. 6 to 7 inch barrel

How about a Glock 1911? (just kidding)... How about a Ruger 4" Redhawk, 5 shooter, in .454? That would be too cool.

From a practial standpoint, my next "dream gun" will either be one of my 4.5" BHs converted to 480 Ruger, or another 480 SRH shortened to 3.5" like the one in the 6th post in this link. http://forums.outdoorsdirectory.com/showthread.php/62292-Handgun-Pictures!I just want plain working gun I can carry on the bely & forget it's there. I have nothing against the .475 Linebaugh, but since from what I've read Mr Linebaugh & son both run their pet 475s at velocities less that I am getting with way sub max 480 Ruger loads (400gr @ 1150 in a 7.5" barrel) the 480 cartridge should continue to serve me well. From a non-practical standpoint I love some of the S&W custom shop 29s & 629s. Hm,,, if I could get them chambered in a 5 shot 480...

My next "dream" revolver is a .500 Max built by Jack Huntington with a 6.5-inch barrel, and a Bisley grip frame.

I would prefer a center grip. Under $1000 would be reasonable. Honestly, I doubt if that will ever happen. You can get a MOA for around that cost though.

A FA 44 Magnum. But would be good with a SBH 44 Magnum 7.5 inch with a 4x scope.

I've been eyeballing a Bisley Hunter in 44 mag. for a while now. And its actually obtainable. So I don't know if that qualifies as dream gun. Growing up as a teenager my dream gun always was a Colt Python 357 mag. SS 6'' bbl. These guns that are still avalible and in good shape go for a pretty penny.

I don't have specific numbers in front of me, but since there are no factory bolt rigs being made (except maybe Weatherby and Blaser-Both expensive), I just don't see a economical bolt rig being made since we are such a niche group. I know of several that have spoken about this this and, if it ever does happen it would really be more of a semi-custom/custom level. With that in mind, I am guessing that 1,000 - 1,400 would be a ballpark, leaning toward the higher side of those numbers. I may be off base here, but those are my thoughts. A Nimrod in .45Colt by Bowen Classic Arms. I have the base gun in .44Mag already. Just waiting to get in the mood to send it off. I have several other guns from him and they are great.
Maybe a .309JDJ from SSK, too, although that doesn't quite qualify as a "gun".

I'll go with a 6" octagonal-barreled FA PG 83 - can't decide between 44, 45LC or 475 Lin. So since we're dreamin'...

Why not all three if we're dreamin'?! Exactly! Let's add action jobs, consecutive serials, fiber optic fronts (or maybe brass beads). Now I need to get back to work to pay for my dreams!

I really like the 97 in 22 and I would like one in 22/327, and 44 special but for some reason, they want money in return so I guess I'll have to wait a little while
