Just picked up a brand spanking used BFR 7.5" in 475 Linebaugh/480 Ruger for a smoking good deal. Ive researched everything I can find about the rounds in the load manuals, but I would like to hear from the folks that shoot them.
Thanks ya'll
Toby

My Freedom arms is very partial to a 400 grain SWC sitting on 14 grains of HS6. It does 1150 fps out of a 6" barrel.

In my 7.5" 480 SRH I'm shooting 20.0 gr little gun & 400gr hardcast. About 1150 as memory serves.

My 475 Reeder shoots a 375 gr, WFNGC Montana Bullet Works over 28.5 gr of H110 really well!
It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger squeeze.

Both John and Dustin Linebaugh told me 14gr of HS6 for medium power, and 24gr of H110 for big power. Those loads under any LFN cast bullet made by Montana bullet works. Best of luck.
