With traditional delay - I have to wait for some weeks in order to get recent issues of US hardcopy magazines over to Stockholm - I note with satisfaction another good article on handgun hunting gear, now in the February annual handgun issue of Shooting Times: Dick Metcalf discusses the Swift A-Frame as a handgun bullet for several calibers. Metcalf has been writing a lot on handgun hunting but I seldom see him referred to on this website. Maybe there are reasons for this but I normally enjoy his articles.

And he is a big fan of the .41 Rem. Magnum and written many articles about the cartridge as well. I've shot one for 32 yrs.

I was a big fan of Dick's work way back when. His articles about varmint hunting with XP's and Contenders are what really got me into the handgun game, along with Bob Milek's old articles.
