Blooded the Encore today. Took a little muley buck with it @ about 100 - 125 yards. A 150 gr Nosler BT out of the '06 and I had a blood trail about 50 yards long that I could see with out my glasses.
I know this is beginner stuff for a lot of the people here but I am happy. I have been wanting to hunt with my Encore for a long time & it finally came together this season.
Will post a picture later. Leaving for elk camp tomorrow. And yes I am using the same pistol, same load.
