I'm looking into possibly having a custom XP, center grip, built. Can anyone recommend a good builder. I was considering something along the lines of a 6.5, or 7WSM. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated....

Chuck has built 2 guns for me. Both guns shoot alot better than me. Work on guns is a piece of art.
Eric built me a for no better word a XP ray gun. All aluminum frame in a 300 WSM. It way out shoots me to
Both guys are great will talk to you and arent done with the build until your happy.
Iv got a Kirby Allen gun its a long wait. Gun is perfect though.
Ernie Biship (xphunter) is the guy that knows the answers. He will be on here about anytime. He got me started.

Let me add, Kirby Allen (APS), Jim See (Center-Shot Rifles), and Greg Tannel (Gre-Tan Rifles) also do great work.
All 5 of the men I have listed have built XP's for me-All do excellent work.
Chuck-Mac's Gunworks is about a 20 minute drive from my house, so he has done more work for me in the last 4 years.

I'll throw Steve Roe of Apache Machine & Custom in the pot - excellent work and is building me a 6.5x284 currently. (to match the 6.5x284 rifle he built for me last year!)

Kirby did my XP-100 7mm-270WSM....couldn't be happier! Did wait for a while though. It's dumped game from 250yds to over 1000yds.
My next build will likely be something along the lines of a 6.5 to launching some screaming 120gr bullets.
