How do you plan on using this new xp? If you are wanting a centergrip trigger you can buy a dell. They don't have a safety if that matters to you.
http://home.comcast.net/~MOA_Shooters/DellTaylorTriggers.htmPersonally for me I prefer a centergrip for hunting. If you needed to shoot off hand it balances much better than a rear grip. From the prone position you are not as bunched up if you are shooting a rifle scope on it either.
For benchrest shooting I like the rear grip. One of the major reasons is that you can use a Jewell trigger. The other reason is that you get a bit more distance between the front rest and rear bag. I think it helps with tracking and making the gun more stable.
