Hello all,

I've been reading articles on this site for quite some time, so I thought it was time to check in and say hello. I picked up my first revolver in 357 Mag back in the late '70s, and bought my Contender in 357 Herrett in the early '80s. I no longer have the S&W model 19, but I still have the 10" Herrett and I still enjoy shooting it. I shoot rifles, .54 blackpowder percussion rifle, revolvers and the Contender. In the revolvers I shoot .357, .41 and .454, and in the Contender I have barrels in 22rf, 223 Rem, 309 JDJ, 357 Herrett, 375 Win, 45 Colt, and I'm waiting for a barrel in 445 SM.

I haven't hunted in CA in many years - I usually head over to AZ where my hunting buddies and I occasionally hunt elk (north of the rim), and javelina (south of the rim).

Over the past decade I've been doing most of my hunting with rifles, but it's definitely time to get back to the handguns!

Yep, I feel the need - the need for... single shot accuracy!

Dave
