I too have a SRH in 44 mag. I tried the Hogue grips and didn't especialyy care for them. Probably gonna sell them. I went back to the factory grips and they work fine for me I guess. I mostly shoot 240 gr XTPs in mine and they perform very nice on WT deer. I've also loaded the SSK 320 grain and the SP 310 grain. These both work very well on paper. I like these bullets because you can seat them differently to allow more powder capacity. 2 crimp grooves, I like that. The only powder I currently use 296, though I have tried AA #9 with great results. I am by no means cheap, but I think a $1 a bullet is a little ridiculous in a revolver. They would have to perform alot better than what I currently use to justify that cost. Just my input.
