I am a dedicated 41 mag fan. I have used 41 mag revolvers for many years. I currently own five of them. In part, I like them because they are different than what is used by most handgunners. However, I would also be quick to mention that the selection of bullets available for the 41 mag is quite limited compared to other calibers (like the 44 mag or 45). Unless you choose to go with cast bullets, reloading is often limited to the 200-210 gr range of projectiles. For your use these will likely suffice. However, just a thought to consider.
