I think the 357 is a great round and has its limitations just like any other caliber. IMHO, you can choose a bad load for the 44 Mag which could result in the loss of your quarry. I am just glad people are opinionated about being selective of components for any caliber.

This caught my attention because I am currently working with my Dad's 10in Contender barrel in 357 Mag. LOL Ironically, I am loading a 200gr RCBS cast Hollow Point "rifle bullet" around 1350 over 14gr of 2400. I am just taking advantage of the extended OAL that can be obtained in the TC barrel.
