I'm shooting a 20lb spring in my Glock 21. That was actually not listed as a +p load. They have since discontinued the load. Now they show a 230gr at 960fps. I would say that's probably the real velocity of the load I used though. They probably just got more truthful with their claimed velocity. A 45 caliber bullet at that velocity has been used thousands of times to kill deer sized game. People just seem to discredit the 45acp for being underpowered. They probably shouldn't ask Elmer Keith his opinion.....
