reflex264 Gun Slinger Joined: May 2012 Posts: 2,502	I have a Fox Ridge barrel that was done on a Douglas blank in 2003. They had two choices for 6.5MM bores. 1:8 or 1:9. Mine got the 1:8 because they were going to have to wait on a 1:9 till Douglas ran a batch. It worked out for the best though. Doug at Fox Ridge said it was normal on the 6.5MM blanks to use the Douglas. It could have been a caliber issue that they didn't make in house. reflex264 "A quiet hit in the right place is better than a loud miss in the wrong place followed by 10 more shots on the run" I was a handgun hunter, when handgun wasn't cool.....
