No doubt that the chances of getting an accurate FA from the factory are much greater than that of a Ruger. That is what you get for the money -- a hand-built revolver. However, when it comes to bang-for-the-buck, it is hard to beat a Ruger. The price of admission is much lower. I am particularly fond of the Williams Shooters Supply distributer exclusive Ruger Bisleys with a 5 1/2-inch barrel. I customized mine a bit, but out of the box it shot lights-out. Obviously you can't go wrong going the FA route.
