I had a P90 which I carried on duty as a deputy sheriff. It was bulky but functioned OK. I would try all the +P JHP loads you can get your hands on and determine accuracy and functional reliability. For deer at less than 50 yards you could probably be satisfied with 10 inch pie plate groups off hand and half that from a rest. Hornady XTP 200 grain, 1055 fps, is my first store bought ammo choice, followed by Speer Gold Dot 200 grain +P. I haven't tried the SR45 safe action trigger but the Glock trigger takes a little getting used to for someone used to a crisp single action trigger.
