After awhile, you will sit on some mountain side watching a few deer or elk, draw your pistol, sight in on one and say now the work starts getting all that meat back to camp. Could have had hundreds of animals, mostly waiting for the big one. I may need to trade the pistol for a real nice camera. I have been into catch and release fishing for years with an occasional keeper. That is hard to do with hunting.
I can't say the same with rabbits or chucks. Even though the chucks are getting harder to find, they are still a blast to hunt.
