Starting my season in Georgia Nov 9-11, Sunday evening, morning and evening Monday and Tuesday morning. Almost two full days and I'll be taking a cheater stick with me AKA 257 Roberts Winchester Featherweight. It's been quite a while since I've rifle hunted, hope I remember how. I will have a .45 ACP as back up in case the deer gets within handgun range or is at a bad angle for swinging a rifle around.
I will hunt in Tennessee before Thanksgiving dinner. My Ruger Old Army is my choice. I realize the season opens earlier, but work commitments keep my out of the woods.
