I had a SBH hunter bisley I sold because the trigger guard kept whacking my knuckle, but after trying several other guns it seems I will have that problem with most revolvers. I normally hunt antelope and deer but I got invited to go hog hunting in Texas this winter with a coworker so I need to get a new gun soon. I am setup to reload 44 mag and have plenty of brass and ammo, but I really like the 45lc and every gun store around has them where the 44's are harder to find. But I also know a guy selling a 460xvr with about 20rds through it, a scope, holster, and 200rds of ammo for $1200. I really like the +/- 5" barrel 44's and 45's, the 10" 460 just seems like it would be more work to tote around? So my question is for hog, deer, antelope etc should I save money and get a 44, spend a little more getting reloading supplies and get a 45lc, or should I go for the 460 where I can shoot 460, 45lc, 454? Thanks for any insight on this.
