the velocity limit-1600 f.p.s. was for revolvers ,because over that limit it starts to erode the forcing cones-that's what the Hornady tech told me-but I think James has pushed it over 1800 fps with his revolvers with no problems-I just play it safe and have mine in the lower 1500's-johnw.
