What is the best use of the 400 XTP? Given the moderate velocities from a 480 Ruger revolver will they expand on medium game like black bear? I have plenty of hard cast 400 grain bullets to fall back on but hope for some expansion. If .512 for sure is a more reasonable outcome, my next big game bullet may be the .475 325 XTP or 420 grain .512 cast in 500 Linebaugh.
