But for me, handgun hunting is an up close and personal endeavor, testing one's hunting skills and field craft. Agree 100%. Although I do occasionally employ a couple of T/C pistol barrels chambered in "rifle cartridges" capable of reaching out a couple hundred yards, handgun hunting for me has always been about the challenge of getting close, and travelling light.
