I agree. Softer and less muzzle rise than a 44 mag revolver. Very similar to a 14" Contender with comparable bullet weights.
I assume the pressure spike is a softer peak than a cartridge gun as there is no case crimp to overcome and the plastic sabot moves through the barrel much easier than a jacketed pistol bullet does.
