Yesterday I took my CVA OPTIMA V2 back to the range. I wanted to try two fifty grain pellets of pyrodex with the 240 xtp and sabot.

To my great pleasure it shot one hole three shot groups at 25 yards.

The recoil is strong but not offensive. Nothing like the Raging Bull 454 I once had.

Our muzzle loading season comes in next Saturday morning. I hope to get to try it on a good buck or mature doe then.
