The issue lies in the long chamber for the 410 shotshell, not in who makes the gun. The shorter case of 45 Colt bullet gets no throat support for the inch and a half to the rifling. If you are going to keep your shots within 50 yards it may be good enough for you, but it wasn't up to my standards for a centerfire pistol cartridge that may need to be stretched to 100 or more.


got ya! so really a guy should consider a .410/45 colt combo a .410 with a novelty 45 colt. that's ok with me because I really just want the .410
