I really don't think I care for the Blackhawks. It's not the gun or the single action it's the grip. I just don't like the way they feel and they remind me of one of my dad's old guns.
You should get your hands on a Ruger Bisley if possible. I don't care for the hogleg handle either, but the Bisley fits my hand like it was made for me. Same main frame as the Blackhawk, different handle.
