My son shot one with a 6.5 Grendel this year .Shot entered thru the bottom of the eyelid and exited where yours did with similar results.Just a touch too low for the brain pan and forward,only bone was hit.I think his shot was at 100 + - yds. with a 123 gr Hornady factory .Friend shot one several yrs ago with a .308 Encore 15 in. The guy he was hunting with killed her a week later on the same corn with the front half of her face gone.Even on head shots, shot placement is everything and has to be spot on.
