Last I checked, American Hunter goes to more than a million households a month. That is the beauty of a membership based publication, you can get exact numbers unlike the voodoo science applied to circulation numbers normally associated with the publication business.

They're closed minded in that they go with what sells. It's difficult to compel people to take up a method of hunting that requires a great deal of skill, tolerance to recoil and a boatload of practice. The point I always hit on in print is the challenge it provides and the satisfaction that follows a successful hunt that wasn't a walk in the park. I do it personally, because it isn't easy and it is the one arena I can still exert alpha male tendencies since I am too damn old to box anymore and my days of traipsing around in war zones and minefields are long done..... To me there is nothing like getting on the ground within spitting distance of something that can turn you into a grease stain on the tarmac. But I digress......

This is a call to all of you who would like to see what we do promoted more enthusiastically and vigorously, to make the effort to not only receive publications that feature handgun hunting even if only occasionally and to make the effort to write to those publications to voice your pleasure or displeasure with what they are bringing out.
