The bullet passed through and broke the on side scapula and 1 rib. Sending bone fragments into the thoracic cavity and lungs.







Severe hemorrhaging was discovered in the chest cavity.



The bullet passed through the bottom of the spine and damaged the top of the lungs/esophagus/wind pipe.

Not traveling overly fast from the short barrel, the bullet still induced severe damage to the bone and soft tissue of the doe. For comparison, I push this bullet out of my two .45 Colt Lever Guns at 1,733 fps (16") and 1,815 fps (24") on up to 2,388 fps from my .460 S&W. On the slower side, I run this same bullet at 1,315 fps from my 4" Redhawk and 1,367 fps from my 6" SB Bisley. Regardless the velocity, it has worked well on deer and pigs from 5 yards to past 120 yards as I suspect it should.

I continue to be pleased with it's performance for my application and also pleased with the performance of the short Casull.
