I do most of my handgun hunting with a 44Mag and does what I need locally for Deer, Black Beasr & Hogs but I would like to round out my handguns with a 480. No, I will not be after the big 5 but Elk, Bison are on the list and maybe Buffalo in South America. I guess I view as others have expressed the 44 as the 30-06 of handgun rounds and the 480 as the 375 of rifle rounds.

1.I believe where I want to be with the 480 is a 390-410 gr. Cast at about 1100 fps, would that not do the trick for anything you would shoot?

2. I have been looking at the Ruger Bisley and the new BFR Bisley, which would you advise for accuracy, recoil, overall quality ?

3. In the way of recoil I know it will be a good bit more than my 44's, the SRH 44 is no big deal at all, my 4" 629 is more noticeable but still not too bad, I would think if a 480 is over double the recoil of my 629 then I may have 2nd thoughts.
I want to attach a link of a guy shooting a 480 BFR, granted he is shooting hotter loads but seems exaggerated, maybe a limp hand, maybe not & it is is sharp contrast to a Ruger video I will add, yea they are selling their gun.

Gentlemen, just trying to get an idea, the only way I can try one in my area is to order one.
