nomo -- the regular bisley is a short lil gun and i think you'd like it and should be easier to shoot than the shorty that just came out. i just went and had my daughter shoot my son's 44 mag with him which is a sw44 mag with the standard winchester 24 loads and then the handloaded 425 gr hardcast at 1050 fps out of his 480 bisley. she definitely preferred the push of the 480 and felt it to be more comfortable. you will like that gun.
