I have done it both ways and both will kill. I agree with wvhitman. The high (or center) shoulder shot gets it done on the spot. At my camp we call it DRT - dead right there! Every PH at the South African hunt camp I was at insist that you shoot center shoulder on any animal from the smallest antelope up through Cape Buffalo.
