Recall that a couple of years ago I shot this water buffalo at the first bovine bash. He was a very large animal I think you will agree. I shot it with three 405 grain Garrett hardcast bullets. One exited and the other two were found poking through the skin on the offside shoulder. All hardcast bullets are not created equally and they often do work well on very large game. The risk for failure however, is something to consider.
