It is interesting to see that the single shot seems to be the preferred handgun for whitetail.
For me that's true as of right now, but I'm working on becoming proficient with my revolvers for this season. That said, when I absolutely need some venison for my freezer or for a friend, and the late season holdouts just won't come in close, my 300 Encore will certainly get the job done right there, at any range, and with authority.
