Well ain't that a b***h, Kim. Your problem is not unheard of by any means; Ruger, Smith, Taurus all seem to have issues overtorquing the barrels at times. I know Ruger takes care of this issue without hesitation and I'd expect S&W to do the same. Hope for the best for you.
