I ran into Mark Hampton yesterday at the convenience store in Summersville. He is still looking for a big one also.
As he mentioned we still have another season in December to hunt with a handgun.

I hunted Wilma's Tower Stand yesterday afternoon. I had 2 slick heads come out into the field South of me late. Two more came across the fence from the North as I was headed back to the house.
This morning the wind was blowing hard. I had about decided not to hunt. At 6:50 I looked out in the field beside the house and had 6 slick heads eating grass. I went to a stand and did not see a thing. During the afternoon I saw 4 more around the house.

No horns in several days however.
