All 3 are OK, but I like an edge on the side of "excess". Mine is a Ruger SuperRedhawk in .454. I've carried it a lot in the US and on a 15 day safari which I used it to finish a large sable at 100 yds. when my primary gun jammed. The weight never bothered me a bit and I felt very secure.
