You did well. I know it will be a shooter. I did not know that CVA ever offered anything bigger than the 243 in the Scout Pistol.
I have a 260 Remington Encore which will be very comparable to the 6.5 Creedmoor Scout. It is a very impressive barrel. With a Rifle scope with target knobs and a Drop Chart you should be able to reach out and touch things rifle shooters will be impressed with.

I have always felt that CVA really messed up not offering a 260 or 6.5 Creedmoor, 7-08, 308, and 358 in the Scout. The 357 Magnum should have been a 357 Maximum also.

While I am on a "should have" roll, A quality wood grip, and a wood carbine forend would have been a big improvement also.

They got all the rest of it right. Good Trigger and Quality Construction, and a very good Quality Barrel.
