The CEB's are ridiculously accurate. I posted this thread a few years ago when I was working up loads for them in my 44mag and 475L.

I once used a sabot and a 44 cal CEB Raptor out of a CVA Optima handgun muzzleloader on a deer at 140 yards. It dropped on the spot and the trauma was impressive with a high shoulder shot and a complete pass through.

The wild thing about the bullet was that I later used a metal detector on the deer, and found one of the copper blades in the cartilage of it's ear!!

Unless I was going after the REALLY big critters...I would choose the Raptor(HP) over the solids.
