Guys I'm almost 68 years young and have never reloaded a bottle neck round. I have and do reload for 44 mag/spl, 357mag/38spl, 40 S&W, 45acp, 45LC, and 9mm. I have owned 500 S&W, 460S&W, 357 max, 223, and 45/70 in handguns but not reloaded for them. I had Contenders and and an XP-100 in the past but got into shooting IDPA, PPC, and Bowling Pin Shoots for a number of years and hunted with rifles. Last year before deer season I decided I was going handgun only! I used a CVA Optima pistol and scored on a doe in the ML season and killed a small buck and a doe with my 4in. N Frame S&W 44mag. I had killed groundhogs, crows, fox, and other small game, including squirrels, with a handgun but never a deer. I bought a CVA Scout handgun in 243 and a 6.5 CM to give me more range this year during deer season. I guess what I'm trying to say is, I need to be listening to you guys concerning hunting and reloading instead of the other way around.
