I too was skunked on my Mule deer/pronghorn hi tthis last week. We also attributed the lack of game sighted to moon and dry/warm weather conditions.
I head out for elk at the end of the month,.....hopefully with better luck than you guys.
The area is under fire restrictions due to dry conditions but at least its not truly hot.
Proper attitude makes for a much better camp, I applaud you guys for sticking to it, and making new friends.
