I killed four 2x Burris scopes on my 454 and 480 Encores. They would not take the recoil. The eye piece would fall off. I mean like laying on the floor after recoil.

I sent all four back in pieces.

I would go Leupold

If it jams force it! If it breaks it needed replacing anyway.
