After corresponding with Doc Rodgers and his success I gave them a try in my 7.5-inch BFR. I have not taken an animal yet. That said, I have put them through a wet newsprint test.
This is what I have loaded up for hunting.

Using A#9 and CCI-350 primers my recorded results

Test Medium Distance 50 Yards
Barnes 275gr XPB
Muzzle Velocity (Lab Radar) = 1755fs / Impact Velocity 1552fs
Developed a 1.5 inch hole
Penetration = 15 inches
Retained weight = 274.3gr / 99.7%
Bullet Diameter = 1.011 inches
